Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect as little as possible: your name, year of birth, gender, and email address, plus the health feedback you choose to share. We use it to show you what worked for people like you. We never sell your personal information.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, year of birth, and gender.
- Health feedback you choose to share: symptoms you log, remedies you try, and whether they worked.
- Check-ins and plans: your daily check-ins, remedy plans, and progress notes.
- Basic technical data: the usual logs every website keeps (browser type, pages visited) to keep the site running and secure.
Please do not enter information about anyone else without their permission.
2. How we use it
- To show remedy success rates grouped by age range and gender — never by name.
- To power your personal plans, check-ins, and the AI guide.
- To email you about your account or, if you opt in, occasional updates. You can opt out anytime.
- To keep the site safe (for example, our human-verification check on sign-in).
3. What other members see
Community results are always pooled together — for example, "72% of women aged 45–54 reported improvement." Your individual feedback is never shown with your name, email, or exact age. If you appear on a community leaderboard, you can turn that off in your settings.
4. Who processes your data
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site: secure cloud hosting and database, a payment processor for memberships (we never see or store your card number), an AI provider that powers the guide and plain-English explanations, and a human-verification service that keeps bots out. These providers may only use your data to provide their service to us.
5. AI and your information
When you ask the AI guide a question, your question and relevant context (like the symptom you are viewing) are processed to generate an answer. AI answers are general information, not medical advice. We do not use your personal health entries to train AI models.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, payment receipts).
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can export your remedy plans and progress directly from the site. To make a request, contact the site operator through the contact options in your account or on the site.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and bot protection to keep your information safe. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we treat health information as sensitive and limit who can access it.
9. Children
Remedy Shift is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let members know by email or a notice on the site.
